Winter bit (with ertalon mouthiece) – whole mouthpiece or parts of it made of ertalon. Recommended for winter, as ertalon’s properties keep it warmer than metal. Ertalon – a material completely neutral for an animal, does not interact with saliva. It is characterised by high mechanical durability, resistant to attrition

Pelham, also known as ‚postal’, was used in carriages delivering post. It includes two or three rings to attach reins, which allow adjusting them from loose to firm. Performance of a pelham is facilitated by pinning a rein to a lower ring.
